What the PS5 Pro really brings
The PS5 Pro has a more powerful graphics processor: according to Sony, the rendering is up to 45% faster than a classic PS5. In optimized games, this results in a finer image, a more stable frequency and more realistic light effects. Technology PSSR also improves sharpness thanks to artificial intelligence.
The winning depends on the game. Optimized titles PS5 Pro take full advantage, while others take a little less. To enjoy it, you need a 4K TV, ideally compatible 120 Hz.
What the PS5 Standard keeps as advantages
- A much lighter budget, for a console that runs all PS5 games.
- The built-in disk drive on our model: practical for box games, used games or Blu-ray.
- 1 TB storage, enough for several big games at once.
Which one?
Choose the PS5 Pro if you have a 4K TV, want the best image on large outputs like GTA VI and install a lot of games (2 TB). At HOMEGAR, GTA VI is included.
Choose the PS5 Standard if You play on a Full HD TV or with a tight budget, if you buy games in a box, or for a first console or a gift for a child.
What about GTA 6?
GTA VI releases on November 19 2026 and runs on all PS5. The PS5 Pro will generally offer a better image, but Rockstar has not yet detailed its specific improvements. Everything is explained in our guide GTA 6: Release date, consoles and pre-order.
